Fort St. John’s home opener will come two weeks later, on October 5th, when they host the visiting Dawson Creek Kodiaks at the North Peace Arena.

Dawson Creek finished fourth in the regular season standings in 2023-24, falling to the Beaverlodge Blades in the opening round of the playoffs.

The Huskies will finish off the year on February 1st, travelling to Fairview to take on the Flyers, who fell in the play-in round last season, losing to the Sundown Oil Sexsmith Vipers in a two-game sweep.

Fort St. John’s run of four consecutive championships came to a halt in February at the hands of the La Crete Lumber Barons, who captured the NWJHL Championship in five games.

The Huskies’ first pre-season game is set for Friday evening, September 6th, against the Navigators at the Pomeroy Centre in Fort St. John. The puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m.
