Cocaine and contraband seized in Tumbler Ridge raid
The Tumbler Ridge RCMP detachment has released details about a drug raid in the district.

TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. — The Tumbler Ridge RCMP detachment has released details about a drug raid in the district.
According to North District Media Relations Officer Madonna Saunderson, police began an investigation into potential drug trafficking back in December of 2023.
Saunderson says following an investigation, police executed a search warrant on August 27th, raiding a residence and local business in the district.

Police seized an unconfirmed amount of cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia, which Saunderson says may be consistent with drug trafficking.
She says the investigation remains open at this time, and further information may be released at a later date.
The Tumbler Ridge RCMP detachment was contacted by Energeticcity.ca but could not be reached for comment by publication time.
