Through investigation, they determined a red tractor pulling a manure container had entered the space at approximately 10:54 a.m. on Sunday, spreading waste all over the sidewalk and parking lot.

Police say the tractor exited approximately five minutes later, at 10:59 a.m.

The RCMP believes a red pickup with a male driver is associated with the incident.

They say the Dodge Ram truck was on-site throughout the chaotic scene, departing about the same time as the tractor.

BCER representatives say they are unsure of the circumstances behind the incident.

In a statement, the energy authority said it has  “dedicated staff to contact if someone has concerns with energy resource activities” and “encourages people to discuss any concerns with our appropriate staff.”

RCMP is encouraging anyone who was near the area or has dashcam video to call the Fort St. John detachment at (250) 787-8100.
