UPDATE: Fort St. John announces emergency water shutoff

The City of Fort St John announced on social media Monday morning that an emergency water shut-off has impacted residential properties.

UPDATE 2:20 p.m. July 29th: As of 1:45 p.m. on the 29th, the emergency water shutoff has ended.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John announced on social media Monday morning that an emergency water shut-off has impacted residential properties. 

The shutoff is affecting properties on 97 Avenue between 86th and 82nd streets.

The city is advising people to avoid those areas as crews are working. 

It is not clear when the shutoffs will be restored, but the city says it will provide an update this afternoon.
