WestJet adds one weekly airplane flight to Fort St. John-Calgary route
Westjet Airlines says Fort St Johns North Peace Regional Airport will gain an additional weekly flight between Fort St. John and Calgary as a part of its ‘expansive winter schedule.’

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Westjet Airlines says Fort St Johns North Peace Regional Airport will gain an additional weekly flight between Fort St. John and Calgary as a part of its ‘expansive winter schedule.’
The Fort St John airport will add one additional flight per week, for a total of 11 flights per week between the two communities.
The airline will also maintain its service between Fort St. John and Vancouver with six weekly flights.

“Additionally, by increasing service to Calgary, the Fort St. John’s community will gain enhanced access to our global hub, making them one connection away from accessing our extensive network of connectivity to the most popular leisure destinations around the world.”
The Westjet Group announced its complete 2024/2025 winter schedule on Monday and will, along with WestJet and Sunwing Airlines, provide more airplane seats than any other airline in Canada.
The airline says it will increase its overall capacity by nine per cent compared to 2023 with growth across all regions, including a 48 per cent increase in intercontinental capacity, a 15 per cent increase in domestic capacity, five per cent increase in transborder capacity, and a three per cent increase in Latin-Caribbean capacity.
