EECA welcomes seasoned and aspiring cheerleaders for summer tryouts
Energetic Edge Cheer Association (EECA) is looking for performers to join their competitive cheerleading ranks

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Energetic Edge Cheer Association (EECA) is looking for performers to join their competitive cheerleading ranks.
In a Facebook post dated June 5th, the organization encourages “seasoned athletes” or “fresh faces eager to join” the competitive cheerleading team.
Tryouts will be held throughout July and August to join one of three age-based programs: Encourage, for athletes five to eight years old; Elevate for nine to 11 years, and Empower, for participants aged 12 to 16.
Held weekly, the tryouts will happen on Tuesday (ages 9 to 11), Wednesday (ages 5-8), and Thursday (ages 12-16) during the summer.
Energetic Edge concluded their 2023-24 season earlier in May with their end-of-year showcase, which included teams from Chetwynd and Prince George taking part.
The showcase also featured the team’s new mini-prep and junior and senior team uniforms.
More information about EECA can be found by viewing their Facebook page.
