Fort St John Today: BC Performing Arts Festival

Hi everybody,

You might have noticed some more people out and about around Fort St John this week and that’s because the Energetic City is hosting the BC Performing Arts Festival! More than 500 of the best young performing artists from across the province are in the city to showcase their talents including dance, speech arts, music, and more.

Over the next couple of days, we have concerts including the BC’s Best on June 4, Dance Final on June 5, and Provincial Excellence on June 6. If you want to learn more about how Fort St John became the home for this festival this year, we sat down with one of the organizers on This Week in the Peace. Good luck to all of the performers!
