Behind the Scenes
We have some new people that have joined the Energeticcity.ca team. First, we have Caitlin Coombes who is our new General Reporter. Second, we have Jason Born who is our new Marketing Executive. Here is a bio of each to learn more about who they are and why they chose to make Fort St John their new home. If you see them out and about, make sure to give them a warm welcome!

Caitlin: Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to keep writing for the rest of my life. I moved from Nova Scotia to Ontario to attend Carleton University’s School of Journalism. After graduation, I moved to Prince Edward Island to write for a local newspaper, intent on seeing as much of Canada as possible throughout my professional career. I spent eight months focusing on environment stories in Prince Edward Island before flying across the country to be a General Assignment reporter in Fort St. John. I am excited to see, explore and learn about British Columbia and the Peace Region. When I’m not writing news stories, I’m gardening with my cat, playing video games, or reading the latest fiction or fantasy novels.
Latest Stories
Jason: Hey, my name is Jason Born (not to be confused with covert assassin Jason Bourne). I’ve recently joined the team at MooseFM/Energeticcity.ca as their newest Marketing Executive, and I am super excited to be a part of this fantastic group. I have over a decade of industry knowledge in broadcasting, and I’m a graduate of BCIT’s Radio Broadcasting Program. My family and I are fairly new to Fort St John and we are eager to explore every nook and cranny of this town and the surrounding area.
