“Attendees can expect a jam-packed schedule featuring a dynamic lineup of rock and country music concerts, alongside an array of motorsport spectacles guaranteed to get hearts racing and mud flying,” an announcement from Extreme Mudfest Producer Billie Jo Aasen reads.

Mudfest has been controversial within the community, with some residents raising concerns regarding noise and water use at a Peace River Regional District (PRRD) meeting in April.

The PRRD ultimately voted in favor of issuing the organizers a permit to host Extreme Mudfest at 187 Riverside Road in Pouce Coupe for the next three years at a later meeting.
