Dr Kearney Middle School performing The Addams Family musical at North Peace Cultural Centre

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Students from Dr Kearney Middle School will perform a comedic musical at the North Peace Cultural Centre starting May 16th. 

The Addams Family follows Wednesday, the daughter of the Addams family, introducing her boyfriend and his family to hers. 

“The play explores the whole meeting the family experience, that first dinner and all the drama,” Ashlynne Jones, one of the organizers, said.

The play will be performed on May 16th, 17th, and 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. 

Two different sets of students have been cast, allowing attendees to see multiple versions of the play. 

Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors, and special prices for evacuees interested in attending the show

“We decided that with everything that’s happening [in Fort Nelson and Doig River] that we would have a pay-what-you-can option for those who were evacuated,” Jones said. 

Tickets are available for purchase online in advance or at the booth on the day of the performance.
