FORT NELSON, B.C. — The Prince George Fire Centre is taking steps to protect residents from two out-of-control wildfires near Fort Nelson.
The fire centre announced Sunday that it has implemented an Area Restriction Order for the vicinity of the Patry Creek and Nogah Creek wildfires.
The two blazes, both holdover fires from 2023 that reignited earlier in May, have also led to evacuation alerts from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and Fort Nelson First Nation.
