BC Hydro wishes to thank our customers in Dawson Creek for their patience and understanding during a recent operation to improve the reliability of the electrical system and reduce the likelihood of outages.

Last year, our crews conducted an operation along 96th Avenue that affected some traffic in the area and required short duration power outages for nearby customers. Work began last summer and was completed this spring.

This project involved extensive collaboration with staff at the City of Dawson Creek who were also managing a project of their own to replace and upgrade streetlights and install associated infrastructure along the route.

Along with our valued customers, BC Hydro wishes to thank City staff for their professionalism and collaboration, which allowed both important works to be completed safely and efficiently.
