Police officers in Dawson Creek are turning to the public for help finding a man wanted on 13 unendorsed warrants in B.C. and several more outstanding charges in Alberta.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Police officers in Dawson Creek are turning to the public for help finding a man wanted on 13 unendorsed warrants in B.C. and several more outstanding charges in Alberta.

According to a release from the Dawson Creek RCMP detachment, Michael Trosky, a 34-year-old resident of the city, is facing charges including flight from a police officer, dangerous operation of a vehicle and assault.

Officers also say he has an extensive criminal record and several similar charges already working their way through the court system.

“Michael is actively avoiding police and known to take extreme measures to avoid apprehension,” the release reads. “It is important not to approach Michael if he is located.”

Officers say he’s believed to be in the Peace region or Alberta, but he’s also known to visit southern parts of British Columbia.

He’s described as a 34-year-old male with black hair and brown eyes, standing roughly six feet two inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
