Renee Ardill, the owner of the ranch land where the burn is taking place, says she hopes for it to start Saturday, depending on the conditions.

“You don’t predict these things precisely,” Ardill said.

Northern Fire WoRx calls itself one of the leading private fire companies in the country, with crews trained for fire prevention, suppression, and rehabilitation.
