Crews from Taylor, Fort St. John fight Cherry Avenue fire

Fire crews are responding to a blaze near the Taylor Speedway.

TAYLOR, B.C. — Fire crews are responding to a blaze near the Taylor Speedway.

Witnesses at the scene of the fire say it stretches roughly two kilometres west along Cherry Avenue West.

They also say “close to 10” fire apparatus from both Taylor and Fort St. John are battling the blaze.

Police and ambulance crews are also at the scene.

When asked for more details, the Fort St. John Fire Department told Energeticcity.ca that all the city’s Fire Chiefs are on the scene.

Energeticcity.ca reached out to the Taylor Fire Hall for more information, but didn’t receive a response in time for publication.
