Reference Number: BCER OSRF PMP 2024-2029

The British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER) has developed this Pest Management Plan with the purpose of controlling noxious and other unwanted vegetation on Orphan sites using the principles of integrated pest management including cultural, biological, mechanical, and chemical.

This 5-year (2024-2029) plan will cover all Orphan sites within the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and Peace River Regional District. These sites can be viewed at: https://geoweb-ags.bc-er.ca/portal/apps/webappviewer/index.html id=a93cadbbd1044b148d0deb8f7f3ee59f

The practice of integrated vegetation management under this plan includes ground-based applications with mowers, tillage equipment, backpack, wand, wick, and boom and/or boomless nozzle spraying equipment.
