Behind the Scenes
While we write a lot of different types of stories, some of the more fun ones we get to do is when we highlight the community. There are a lot of awesome people that live in the area that deserve to be recognized for their hard work and persistence. For the past couple of years, we have had the Co-op Community Champion and the Northern Vision Care Youth Athlete of the Month. Now, we have a new monthly highlight: Bold Women!
We are always accepting nominations so if you know someone in the community you want to shout out, make sure to let us know. Thank you to our sponsors FSJ Co-op, Northern Vision Care Optometrists, and Bold Promotions for partnering with us! Here are our winners from March:
Latest Stories
- Co-op Community Champion: Lisa Jewell
- Northern Vision Care Youth Athlete of the Month: Makayla Johnston
- Bold Woman of the Month: Laurie Cardinal
