To avoid congestion, major delays and reroutes, light traffic is encouraged to detour on Golatta Creek Road.

Due to seasonal weight restrictions, no detour route is available for heavy traffic, such as commercial vehicles. All heavy traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes through Dawson Creek until 8 p.m. on March 27th.

At this time, it is unclear when the road will reopen to normal traffic.
