GROUNDBIRCH, B.C. — Arts North East (ANE) is offering grants for professional development and events in the region.

The ANE leadership grant is offered to organization members for up to $1,000 to attend professional development opportunities, such as conferences or workshops, to benefit arts, culture or heritage in northeast B.C.

For the leadership grant, the organization will prioritize projects that encourage knowledge sharing within the organization or the community.

The ANE regional development grant is offered to member organizations and individual members for up to $1,000 for events or projects supporting the region’s arts, culture and heritage.

Projects with broad community benefits that did not receive a regional development grant in the past year will be prioritized. 

Applications are received on a rolling basis until November 30th each year.

The applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified within four weeks.

The organization is also letting the region know about the Arts Impact Grant from the British Columbia Arts Council for arts and culture organizations or collectives.

The Arts Impact grant intends to allow applicants to prioritize a specific project or group of related activities which will provide the most meaningful impact to their organization or community.
