FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Applications are now open for the inaugural North Peace Savings Community Legacy Fund for charities and non-profits in the Peace and Northern Rockies regions.
The North Peace Community Foundation (NPCF) announced Thursday afternoon that $50,000 will be available annually for the next two decades through the fund.
According to the NPCF, the fund was established to retain the earnings from the North Peace Savings and Credit Union before the merger with Interior Savings.
“The North Peace Community Foundation takes immense pride in administering this program and eagerly anticipates the transformative impact this generous gift will have on our communities,” said Lori Ackerman, chair of the NPCF.
“We are excited to share the inspiring stories that will undoubtedly emerge as a result.”
Interested organizations can visit the NPCF website for more information and to apply.
Applications will be accepted until midnight on March 7th.
