According to Transitions, the Canada Eyecare Practice of the Year award goes to an independent eyecare practice in Canada that actively promotes healthy sight.

Mistry says they had to submit an application to qualify for the award, which Merwin Optical did for the first time in 2023.

“We had to create a presentation for that and list all of our achievements in that area,” Mistry said.

“[That included] how we help customers, how the products have been helping the community, and how we spread awareness?”

The team at Merwin Optical submitted the presentation online, and Transitions chose the finalists.

“We’re pretty excited to be nominated and hopefully win,” Mistry said.

Mistry will attend the Transitions 2023 Innovation Awards in Florida on February 13th.
