Fort St. John Provincial Court, January 8th sentencing:
Garett Allen Cazes (born 1982)

Cazes was found guilty of unlawful confinement or imprisonment, uttering threats, breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence and aggravated assault. The incidents occurred in Charlie Lake on July 28th, 2019. He was sentenced to a total of ten years in jail, ordered to submit a DNA sample and given a ten-year prohibition from firearms following his release.
Jessica Krupp (born 1996)
Krupp was found guilty of breach of probation order, breach of undertaking, and three counts of theft of $5,000 for incidents in Fort St. John from July 2022 to August 2023. Krupp was given fines totalling $900, including a victim surcharge, which goes towards helping victims of a crime, 18 months probation and a suspended sentence.
A suspended sentence is where the accused is given conditions to follow.

Maycock was found guilty of three counts of breach of a probation order, two counts of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer and one count of assault by choking. The incidents occurred in Powell River, Fort St. John, Nanaimo and Charlie Lake from June 2020 to July 2023. He was given jail time served, an 18-month probation order and 279 days in jail.

Kyle Patrick Cutting (born 1985)
Cutting was found guilty of possessing a firearm without a licence or registration for an incident on September 28th, 2022, in Hudson’s Hope. Cutting was given an 18-month probation order, a suspended sentence, and fines totalling $1,300, including a victim surcharge.
Cody James Morin (born 1982)
Morin was found guilty of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer for an incident on July 8th, 2022, in Fort St. John. Morin was given an absolute discharge, meaning the accused was found guilty, but no conviction was registered, and there were no conditions to follow.

Lukas William Pollard (born 1990)
Pollard was sentenced for causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Charlie Lake on July 12th, 2022. Pollard was given a $100, 12-month recognizance after the allegation. If they break the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $100.

Kelly Donald Shular (born 1975)
Shular was found guilty of extortion and assault for incidents on October 22nd and 23rd, 2023, in Fort St. John. Schular was given six days in jail, a 12-month probation order, a lifetime prohibition from firearms, a $200 victim surcharge and ordered to submit a DNA sample.

Tyler Lee Calliou (born 1987)
Calliou was found guilty of two counts of breach of release order, one count of uttering threats and one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The incidents occurred In September and October 2022 in Dawson Creek and Pouce Coupe. Calliou was sentenced to a total of 157 days in jail and two years of probation.
