FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Bluegrass band Chris Jones & The Night Drivers are set to play at the North Peace Cultural Centre next month.

Chris Jones & The Night Drivers are signed to Mountain Home Music Company, and the band was formed in the mid-1990s.

Chris Jones & The Night Drivers have collectively won 11 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards and 22 songs that have hit number one on bluegrass charts.

The band’s first all-original album and latest release, Make Each Second Last, contained eight songs that hit number one, including We Needed This Ride. The song Riding the Chief was nominated for the 2022 IBMA Song of the Year.

Jones has released 14 albums in total, both with the Night Drivers and as a solo artist. He and his band have had 19 songs hit number one on the bluegrass charts.

The show is scheduled for February 9th at 7:30 p.m. at the North Peace Cultural Centre.
