RCMP requesting video surveillance for investigation into Cole Hosack’s disappearance

The Dawson Creek and North District RCMP are requesting video surveillance of Highway 49 as part of the investigation into Cole Hosack’s disappearance.

DAWSON REEK, B.C. — The Dawson Creek and North District RCMP are requesting video surveillance of Highway 49 as part of the investigation into Cole Hosack’s disappearance.

Investigators are asking anyone with video surveillance capturing the area of Highway 49 from 8th Street and Alaska Avenue heading east towards Spirit River to save the video and contact the RCMP.

The Dawson Creek RCMP also asks residents to check outdoor areas on their properties, such as sheds and under decks.

Hosack was last seen at the LoneStar NightLife in Dawson Creek early on New Year’s Day.

According to police, he was last seen wearing dark green pants, a green t-shirt and a black hat with a Boston Red Sox ‘B’.

Hosack had stopped in Dawson Creek to spend time with friends before going to work in Medicine Hat on January 5th, but he never showed up.

His friends and family have conducted two searches with no results.

A family friend has set up a GoFundMe, which has raised $5,660 since its creation, for Cole’s toddler and to fund the search efforts.

Anyone with information on Hosack or his whereabouts is asked to contact the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
