Zackery Myers, a provincial lead for SOGI 1 2 3 in British Columbia and a self-described “proud Two-Spirit/Indigiqueer member of the Fort Nelson First Nation,” will be speaking at the event.

Myers is also the Chief Executive Officer of Golo-Sah Consulting, an Indigenous-owned and operated educational consulting organization dedicated to promoting the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in project development and oversight.

This session follows the nationwide 1 Million March 4 Children, organized by Hands Off Our Kids, that took place in September 2023

According to the Hands Off Our Kids website, they aim to “safeguard children from gender ideology teachings, sexual indoctrination, exposure to explicit sexual content.”

Several Fort St. John and area residents participated in the march, walking from city hall to Centennial Park.

The Trans Alliance Friends, Family & Youth Society (TAFFY) held a “peaceful presence” during the march to provide information to those unaware of the importance of inclusivity and safe spaces.
