RCMP find no signs of gunshots fired on Monday

Fort St. John RCMP were unable to find any signs of gunshots fired on Monday night after a report came in.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John RCMP were unable to find any signs of gunshots fired on Monday night after a report came in.

Staff Sergeant Scott Watson said the report of shots fired came in at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the area of 89th Avenue on Monday.

However, Watson said officers couldn’t substantiate the report of shots fired.

The staff sergeant said officers did foot patrols and talked to witnesses in the area but were unable to find any signs of shots being fired.
