Trackers annual Christmas game takes place on Friday

The Northeast BC under-18 Trackers are set to hit the ice on Friday for their annual Christmas game, supporting the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Northeast BC under-18 Trackers are set to hit the ice on Friday for their annual Christmas game, supporting the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.

The Trackers will face off against the Whitecourt Wolverines in the North Peace Arena at 11 a.m. 

Students from Dr. Kearney Middle School, Bert Bowes Middle School, North Peace Secondary School and the Energetic Learning Campus will take the day off from school to watch the game. The general public is welcome to attend as well.

Admission to the game is one non-perishable food item for donation to the Women’s Resource Society. 

Last year’s Christmas game collected several hundred pounds of food for the local Salvation Army.

Last Spring, Jordan completed her first season providing play-by-play for Trinity Western University Women’s Hockey and gameday hosting for BCHL Coquitlam Express.

Jordan enjoys radio anchoring, creating and editing video content, and hopes to one day pursue a career in investigative journalism as well as producing documentaries.
