According to Inspector Anthony Hansen, officer in charge at the Fort St. John RCMP detachment, there is no risk to the general public.

The apartment in question is located on 105th Avenue near 112th Street, and a heavy police presence was seen at the residence for multiple days following the wellness check report.

A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, told Energeticcity.ca they had seen an officer in a hazmat suit entering the complex.
