Fundraiser being held for local man’s legal fees after participating in Freedom Convoy
A fundraiser is being held at the Lido Friday night for Bern Bueckert to cover the costs for his upcoming trial in Ottawa.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A fundraiser is being held at the Lido Friday night for Bern Bueckert to cover the costs for his upcoming trial in Ottawa.
Bueckert is facing criminal charges for his participation in the Freedom Convoy to Ottawa in early 2022.
The fundraiser starts at 7 p.m. and will include a meeting with Bueckert, a question period, special guest Chris Barber and never-before-seen clips from Eagle Vision Video Productions’ documentary “Unacceptable?”

Tickets are available on Eventbrite’s website for $5 each.
All proceeds will go towards Bueckert’s legal fees, travel, accommodations and work missed.
