Fort St. John Provincial Court, November 6th sentencing:

Myles Ray Acko (born 1991)

Acko was charged with assault for an incident in Fort St. John earlier in 2023. Acko was given jail time served.

Jenny Wanita Blue (born 1973)

Blue was charged with causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Fort St. John on July 24th, 2022. Acko was given a $500,12-month recognizance after the allegation. If they break the conditions laid out by the court, he must pay the $500.

Reign Thunder Chief (born 2001)

Chief was found guilty of impaired operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm for an incident in Charlie Lake on July 23rd, 2022. Chief was given a 9-month conditional sentence, a 12-month probation order, a two-year prohibition from driving, $7,979.36 restitution and a $100 victim surcharge, which goes towards helping victims of a crime. 

A conditional sentence is a sentence to be served within the community, and restitution requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime.

Albert Gregory Eisler (born 2003)

Eisler was found guilty of causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident on June 11th, 2023, in Fort St. John. Eisler was given a $500, 12-month recognizance after the allegation.

Antonia Maria Foster (born 1990)

Foster was found guilty of driving without a driver’s licence for an incident in Dawson Creek on November 23rd, 2022. Foster was given fines totalling $650, including a victim surcharge.

Fort St. John Provincial Court, November 7th sentencing:

Frank Edward Boostrom (born 1978)

Boostrom was found guilty of possession of stolen property over $5,000, identity theft, wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, impaired operation of a conveyance, theft of $5,000 or over, personation with intent to avoid arrest or obstruct the course of justice and personation with intent to gain advantage.

The offences occurred from May 2020 to July 2023 in Charlie Lake, Fort St. John and Vancouver. Boomstrom was given jail time served, a 24-month probation order, a $1,000 fine, a one-year prohibition from driving and 43 days in jail.

Justin Dean Collins (born 1982)

Collins was found guilty of breach of probation order for an incident in Fort St. John on October 17th, 2023. Collins was sentenced to jail time served.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court, November 7th sentencing:

Melanie Dawn Joy Liddell (born 1978)

Liddell was found guilty of theft of $5,000 or under for an incident on July 29th, 2022, in Dawson Creek. Liddell was given a conditional discharge and a one-year probation order. A conditional discharge means the record won’t show a conviction if a person meets the conditions the judge sets.
