UPDATE: Jeep, pickup truck involved in vehicle incident in Taylor

UPDATE: More information from the RCMP has been added to the story.

TAYLOR, B.C. — Fort St. John RCMP were called to a motor vehicle incident involving a jeep and a pickup truck in Taylor Wednesday afternoon.

Madonna Saunderson with the North District RCMP says the incident took place around 4:30 p.m. on the Alaska Highway and 98th Avenue.

The pickup truck rear-ended the Jeep, which had stopped to turn left.

Saunderson says only one driver reported minor injuries.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, traffic was backed up in both directions on the highway.
