FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for its Board of Directors.

The local chamber of commerce is seeking individuals with leadership and business skills and a desire to contribute to the business community’s success.

Eligibility criteria to be a board member include being an active member, demonstrating commitment to the chamber’s mission and values, experience in relevant fields and the ability to attend regular board meetings and participate in chamber initiatives.

The nomination form can be downloaded online and sent to carrie@fsjchamber.com before November 19th.

Along with the nomination form, the chamber requests a brief statement outlining the nominee’s qualifications and reasons for seeking a board position.

The nomination committee will review all submissions and select candidates, who will be announced on November 20th.

The election will take place online from November 20th to 29th.
