NPSS Grizzlies Update: Boys soccer team victorious in Prince George
The North Peace Secondary School (NPSS) Grizzlies boys soccer team is celebrating after returning from a victorious weekend in Prince George.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The North Peace Secondary School (NPSS) Grizzlies boys soccer team is celebrating after returning from a victorious weekend in Prince George.
To ensure all players had more time on the field, the team split into two groups to take on D.P. Todd Secondary School. One team consisted of players in grades 11 and 12, and the other team consisted of players in grade 10.
The Grizzlies played well and won all matches against D.P. Todd.

The weekend’s games were the first of the season for the boys, who will compete in zones next week in order to qualify for provincials in November.

The Grizzlies cross country team competed in Dawson Creek last Saturday, where two participants from the senior division placed within the top three.
Brynn Adams took first overall, followed by Jimena Fernandez in second place.

Next up for Grizzlies athletes, the cross country team will head to Vanderhoof for zones from October 20th to 21st.
With the exception of the junior boys team, Grizzlies’ volleyball will host a home tournament from October 27th to 28th, and soccer zones take place from October 29th to 30th.
The junior boys volleyball team will compete in a tournament at College Heights Secondary School in Prince George from October 20th to 21st.
