Pickup driver transported to hospital after possible mechanical issue near Bear Flat

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The driver of a pickup truck was transported to a hospital after a potential mechanical issue with their vehicle on Sunday morning.

The incident took place around 10:26 a.m. on Highway 29 near Bear Flat, said the RCMP.

Corporal Madonna Saunderson with the North District RCMP said the only occupant of the truck was taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
