Over the last few months, crews installed new underground utilities in the first two phases and nearly completed the third phase.

In addition, road subbase construction is complete in the first phase and is underway in the second phase.

The post also included an approximate timeline for the completion of some of the work involved in the project.

The city plans to complete underground utilities by next week, followed by testing and connections. Curbing and paving are expected to begin within the next week once each phase is completed.

The city mentioned that work will continue for as long as possible to complete most of the project by the end of the year.

“If Mother Nature turns up, any outstanding items will be finished in the spring. The site will be cleaned up, and access to all properties will be restored for the winter,” read the post.

The city said it has tried to minimize the project’s impacts on businesses and residents, noting that eliminating all impacts is impossible.

“We appreciate your continued patience as we work to upgrade the infrastructure you use daily and build a community we are all proud to call home.”
