Local business collecting donations for single dad after house fire

Tenacious Detail is collecting donations for a single dad and his three kids after they lost their personal possessions in a house fire last week.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Tenacious Detail is collecting donations for a single dad and his three kids after they lost their personal possessions in a house fire last week.  

No one was injured in the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.

Tenacious Detail will be the drop-off point as the father of three will not get his new place for at least a few more days.

The detailing shop says gift cards are an excellent option for grocery stores, clothing stores and furniture stores.

The nine-year-old girl wears a size medium women’s and 14/16 in kids tops, pants size 12, and shoe size woman’s seven. Tenacious Detail says she likes to draw and read.

The eight-year-old boy wears a 12 or large shirt, pants size 10, boxer size six and shoes size three. He likes legos and dinosaurs.

The three-year-old girl wears T4, and the dad wears a size 14 or 15 in shoes, an extra large shirt and 34/34 in pants.

Tenacious Detail thanks the community for their help in this trying time.

The shop is located at 9504 102nd Street in Fort St. John.

Fort City Chrysler is also accepting donations at 8424 Alaska Road.
