FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a potential break-and-enter that occurred early Friday morning.

Just after 2 a.m., the local RCMP responded to a report of a potential residential break and enter in the area of 113th Avenue and 89A Street.

Constable Chad Neustaeter, media relations officer with the Fort St. John RCMP, said numerous people were called out of the residence, and firearms were observed inside.

Officers remained on the scene to execute a search warrant.

Neustaeter says the investigation is still in the early stages and ongoing.
