FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — CNRL presented the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation a cheque for $25,000 on Tuesday to go toward its Peace Villa Fund.

Peace Villa’s manager, Pat Evans, says the money will go toward buying specialty mattresses that alleviate pressure for seniors. She notes that when patients come into long-term care, the time spent in bed increases.

“The specialty mattresses stop the progression or the occurrence of wounds,” Evans said.
