Fort St. John Fire Department responds to three-vehicle collision Friday morning

Fire crews responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 100th Street and the Alaska Highway early Friday morning.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 100th Street and the Alaska Highway early Friday morning. 

At 7:45 a.m., fire crews arrived on the scene to find three vehicles involved in the collision. There were no injuries reported, and no road closures were put in place. 

According to deputy fire chief Matt Troiano, crews remained on the scene for approximately one hour.

“We stayed on the scene for tow trucks to arrive and remove the vehicles,” said Troiano. 

“There was some fluid leakage that public works will come clear off the road.”

Fire crews were able to leave the scene of the collision just before 9 a.m.
