Turkey Trot registration now open

Registration is now open for the 2023 Peace Fusion Dance Society’s Fourth Annual Turkey Trot.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Registration is now open for the Peace Fusion Dance Society’s Fourth Annual Turkey Trot.

According to Stride & Glide Sports’ website, the family-friendly “walk, trot, run” event takes place on Sunday, October 8th, which is also Thanksgiving Sunday.

The event is capped at 125 participants and will proceed rain or shine (or snow). Prizes will be awarded for overall male, female, best overall costume, and best team costume. Door prizes will be given out as well.

This year’s Turkey Trot will feature new routes, consisting of a “Kid’s Dash,” along with three-kilometre, five-kilometre, and ten-kilometre races. The start and finish line is at Kin Park Pavillion in Fort St. John.

Registration is $45 non-refundable and closes at 5 p.m. on October 7th.
