UPDATE: The 65-year-old man that was reported missing earlier this week has been found.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The Dawson Creek RCMP have located the 65-year-old man who was reported missing on the 22nd has been located.

Police say a request came in asking to conduct a well-being check on the man around 7:30 p.m. on July 22nd. The 65-year-old allegedly left the Travelodge in Dawson Creek on foot earlier that day.

The Dawson Creek RCMP thank the public and the media for their help in the investigation.

As per Energeticcity.ca‘s policy, the missing person’s name has been removed from the story since they have been found by police.

Some details that were provided to help the public identify and locate the individual have also been removed.
