FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The leisure pool in the North Peace Leisure Pool is closed for emergent repair.

Morning programs and private lessons are being moved to the lap pool.

According to the city, staff phoned participants in morning lessons that will be cancelled due to the lap pool being too cold for young children.

The city didn’t state what part of the pool is in need of repairs and how long it will take for the leisure pool to be up and running again.

Energeticcity reached out to the city but did not receive a response by publication time.

An update is expected at noon on the City of Fort St. Recreation’s Facebook page.
