UPDATE: Fort St. John RCMP investigate vehicle stolen from BCWS employee

The Fort St. John RCMP are looking for information on a pickup truck stolen from the North Peace Airport parking lot on Tuesday.

UPDATE: More information about the truck’s owner was added to the story.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP are looking for information on a pickup truck stolen from the North Peace Airport parking lot on Tuesday.

The truck’s owner is a BC Wildfire Service employee.

Police say the owner parked their 1996 green and silver Dodge 2500 pickup truck with BC license plate 4723AH at approximately 8 a.m. When they returned at 9 a.m., the truck was gone.

Surveillance video showed the vehicle was taken by what appeared to be two men that drove up in a white pickup truck and took the Dodge.

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone with information on the theft to contact the local detachment at 250-787-8100.
