The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) rescinded its evacuation alert for the Cameron River area Sunday evening.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) rescinded its evacuation alert for the Cameron River area Sunday evening.

The district said an evacuation alert may need to be reissued in the future if the wildfire situation in the area changes or worsens.
