Deck repairs underway for Taylor Bridge

TAYLOR, B.C. — Dawson Road Maintenance crews have begun evening work for repairs on the Taylor Bridge. 

The work will take place between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. 

While repairs are being made to the bridge, traffic will be down to a single lane, and loads in excess of 16 feet wide may be asked to wait for crews to clear the bridge. 

Repairs began on April 24th and will continue until the project is completed. 

The deck repairs come alongside Dawson Road Maintenance’s bridge cleaning that caused lengthy delays in traffic. 

According to Dawson Creek Maintenance, there will be an overlap between bridge cleaning and repairs.
