According to the presentation, the district is running an operational budget of $9.2 million, and a capital budget of $8.3 million.

The 2023 tax rate of 3.7875 would see the average Taylor property owner with a tax assessment of $159,000 will be paying $602.21 per year, or approximately $50.18 a month.

Furthermore, the 4.5 per cent tax increase from last year is only relevant to rates set by the District of Taylor, and does not apply to other tax rates set by the Peace River Regional District.
