PNG boasting rate decreases for residential customers

Residential Fort St. John Pacific Northern Gas (PNG) customers will reportedly see a bill decrease from April 1st, 2023, to June 30th, 2023.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Residential Fort St. John Pacific Northern Gas (PNG) customers will reportedly see a bill decrease from April 1st, 2023, to June 30th, 2023.

The decrease is due to the lower commodity prices of natural gas and propane, according to PNG.

In Fort St. John, there will be an 18.3 per cent rate decrease for an average annual bill difference of -$228.

Dawson Creek PNG customers will see an 18.5 per cent decrease for an average annual bill decrease of about -$217.

A 15 per cent decrease for Tumbler Ridge Customers will result in an average annual bill decrease of approximately -$220.

According to PNG, the company purchases natural gas and propane at the best price available and charges their customers that cost rather than marking up their rates.
