The City of Fort St. John is accepting applications for the Local Downtown Marketing Micro-Grant, worth up to $500.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John is accepting applications for the Local Downtown Marketing Micro-Grant, worth up to $500.

Funded and supported by the Mayor’s Standing Committee on Community Economic Recovery, the grant aims to support downtown businesses interested in increasing their marketing presence during the 100 Street Corridor Project construction.

Only businesses in the Downtown Development Permit Area are eligible for the grant.

“We are committed to supporting our local businesses and ensuring that downtown businesses remain visible and thrive during the 100 Street Corridor construction project,” said Mayor Lilia Hansen.

“We are excited to continue our efforts to improve the downtown area and provide support to local businesses.”

Applicants must describe their proposed marketing plan, such as website updates, print ads or radio advertising.

Applications must be submitted on the city’s website by July 14th, 2023.
