Parking at city facilities to be limited this weekend

The City of Fort St. John is advising residents that the parking lots of city facilities may be busy this weekend due to multiple events taking place.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John is advising residents that the parking lots of city facilities may be busy this weekend due to multiple events taking place.

The city is asking drivers to “respect where they park” and be prepared to park further away. The city also suggests walking to the selected event over the weekend instead.

From Friday, April 14th to Sunday, April 16th, the CKNL Fort St. John Trade Show will be held at the Pomeroy Sport Centre, featuring RCMP recruiters and the local Salvation Army.

The 17th Annual Fort St. John Petroleum Association 4 on 4 Hockey Tournament will be held at the North Peace Arena until April 15th.

The Inconnu Swim Club’s first home meet will occur at the North Peace Leisure Pool on April 15th.

Starting on the 14th, the Peace River North Festival will be held at the North Peace Cultural Centre until the 23rd.
