City awards two tenders to Knappett Industries

The City of Fort St. John has awarded Knappett Industries Ltd. two tender awards worth $1.8 million and $1.3 million.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John has awarded two tenders to Knappett Industries Ltd.

Knappett Industries will enter contracts for the 2023 water main and sewer upgrades worth $1.8 million and the city’s trails, sidewalks, and streetlights project worth $1.3 million. 

The sewer and water main upgrades include the installation of a sewer main on 93rd Street between 112th and 114A Avenue and upgrades to the water systems on 103rd Avenue between 96th and 98th Street.

The trails, sidewalks, and streetlights project includes the installation of sidewalks and accompanying lighting along 84th Street and 95th Avenue, as well as the completion, upgrades and lighting installation along a number of trails within the city. 

Knappett Industries was also awarded and is currently working on phase four of the 100th Street redevelopment project.
